Faking 8 hrs sleep. "How to.."

2015 seems to have begun and full speed and many of us back in the office have found that they are still trying to catch up from the crazy Christmas Season! This year's busy business schedule and social calendar has been a never ending January and February of parties, luncheons, meetings, yoga and gym. In trying to create some kind of work, social and health balance we are forgetting to just take a deep breathe. Any one else feeling like no amount of concealer is going to cover up the lack of rest!

To help ward off the head throb, dark and stormy under eye's and some how to regenerate on little sleep, only to keep the high paced lifestyle kicking along, WHILE remaining glamorous, fresh faced and glowing, we have some recommendations from the top! The struggle is real!

Doctor, Nutritionist, Chinese Medicine, Beauty SkinCare Expert,
LaGaia SkinCare Founder

"To keep a busy life of fashion and beauty on the fast track I find that there are a few things that are a must. A beauty 'Routine' is key and mine comes down to 4 things. I fall asleep with LaGaia Copper Peptide Gel Masque on, after a long day and definitely before another long day. Usually I wake up at 5am most mornings and the first thing I do is wash my face with LaGaia's Cleanse followed by Diamond Peptide Eye Gel then I pat SPF 15 Daily Creme all over my face, neck and décolletage. One health trick I always recommend to everyone is 'Flossing' I know it might sound silly, however flossing you teeth has amazing anti-ageing benefits and it also wakes me up, so try that if you're not much of a 'flosser'. Then to make sure the job is done, I indulge in a coffee as I head to the desk, while throwing some Copper Peptide Mist in my purse for the mid-day rejuvenation treatment between meetings.

Now that's product, my key make-up tricks involve Tom Ford or Burberry foundation (which ever one I end up throwing in my bag), Tom Ford Mascara and Lipstick, some blush or contouring powder and to finish Bobbie Brown concealer for those days that just don't end! I always have a bottle of Chanel No5 on hand because everyone needs Chanel in my opinion and a bottle of water, because skin that isn't hydrated will never look fresh. Now that's the business end of keeping that fresh faced glow.

A moment of relaxation is key, I try to take a mineral bath or milk bath in the evenings of a tough day to help melt the tension. My biggest tip is 'balance'. If your anything like me, and find that there aren't enough hours in one day, you'll be asking, 'balance, say what!?' In a world that seems so imbalanced, try and take a moment that is totally yours."
