Pre-Game skincare to prevent premature ageing

Skin fitness during footy season.

With winter finally catching up to us the darker mornings and cooler temperatures have begun to create the usual repeat snooze button offenders, feet draggers and the few that wear their fluffy bed socks in their boots at work.

The 2015 season has begun, footy fans line the stadium seats eager to see the first bounce, whilst rugged up in the warmest paraphernalia they can find. One thought, have we taken the time to consider the one area of your body that is not covered up, the face?

Not only do our bodies seem to have an aversion to the winters moody disposition, it also effects skin condition too. The cold weather is harsh, shocking the skins outer dermal layer - dehydrating and shrinking pores. This causes flaking, fine lines and a dull, uneven skin tone.

Don't kid yourself about UV exposure and cleansing, "awww, I can get away without sunblock, it's cloudy", or "can't be bothered taking my makeup off tonight". These all have compounding consequences. During winter we wear a bit more of everything - namely clothing and this should hint towards heavier hydration needs. Winter is the time to make sure that we aren't forgetting some basic maintenance that keeps our skin looking fresh and healthy.

If your rushing to a game after work or leisurely bar hoping on the weekend before you get to the stadium make sure you have pre-gamed your face, not just your clothing choices.

lets make sure the only leather in this equation is the football or shoes.

This little gem not only will help rehydrate from a day of working in the office or racing around the city, it will also help repair damage from unseen nasties we encounter on the daily!
A quick spray in the back of the cab or on the train and you have an immediate hydration boost for glow, (even over your makeup!)

An anti-oxidant boost of C will not only give your skin a glow it will also help to protect it from UV ray damage. This one if perfect for a little extra hydration if you feeling a little wind whipped and to help repair uneven skin tone.

This moisturiser protects your skin from UVA/UVB rays that cause premature ageing, uneven skin tone, fine lines and spots. This isn't your traditional SPF moisturiser, it doesn't leave your skin feeling sticky or heavy with product like a traditional SPF moisturiser. It is light, easily and quickly absorbed for mornings or afternoons.

Unedited beauty tricks are not only for the footy season - apply all year round for maximum skin benefits.
